Symptoms and treatment of otitis media
What is tendinitis?
The essence of this disease is that the tendon in which the tendons run is ignited. As a result, there is a lumpy, rubbing disorder that indirectly also means inflammation of the tendons.
Occurrence of tendonitis
Complaints can appear at any time regardless of age or gender, and it is also common for symptoms to make life difficult for young people. Especially if they are a lot of computers, they are pushing a mobile phone. Vaginal inflammation often affects housewives, typically when they pop a window or scratch the floor.
It is also characteristic that if a person has developed such complaints after a particular struggle and has a tendency to them, then the symptoms may appear more easily in the future. It is also relatively common in diabetics, although the cause is not known.
Causes of tendonitis
Symptoms are most often triggered by monotonous, one-sided work. For example, in the case of fingers and hands, someone sits in front of the computer and typing continuously. Or if someone plays piano regularly, he plays on another instrument.
The same is true when someone is doing a household job, such as cleaning up, and, for example, pushing his hand during window sweeping. Because of this type of struggle, even acute inflammation can occur, which, if neglected, can also become a chronic inflammation for months. The underlying causes of complaints may include inflammation due to injuries, such as a pinching of a spike. The latter may lie behind the inflammation of the hands and elbows, and is typically associated with fever.
Symptoms of tendonitis
The typical complaint of the disease is the sudden pain and swelling of the tendon, most often in the hands and wrists. Symptoms may include fever, and the inflamed area may be very hot. The latter suggest that the underlying cause of the infection is inflammation due to infection.
Diagnosis of tendonitis
The diagnosis of the disease is already possible by simple physical examination. In doing so, doctors see whether the movement of the affected joint causes pain and a snort-like reaction. The latter is caused by the lack of lubricants in the inflamed tendons. They also consider whether the patient's joint is also sensitive to pressure, that is, the patient indicates pain when moving the affected members.
If the pain is chronic, that is, it lasts for months, doctors look after it for some kind of inflammation that keeps the symptoms constant. And if the situation does not improve, x-rays and laboratory tests are also made to find out whether there is any inflammation in the background, or possibly a bone loss that can radiate into the incidence.
Treatment of tendonitis
The primary treatment method is to put the affected area to rest. To do this, it is often enough to have a scarf, and if a sickle is attached to the aching joint by the patient.
If the symptoms were more severe, doctors had plastered the aching members for at least one week, but nowadays in the medical aid shops there are already available Velcro fastening rails that are easier to use than gypsum and can be taken off for cleaning. In addition, doctors also offer non-steroidal anti-inflammatory creams and medications. And if the situation does not improve at this time, physical therapy may also be involved.
Prevention
The problem is most likely to be prevented by avoiding one-sided, monotonous motions and sports. It is also advisable to avoid continuous computerization and telephone printing for hours. If permanent typing is unavoidable, you can help prevent the problem by getting a palm rest beside the mouse. At times, however, it is still worthwhile to take a break and move your hands in a different direction, massaging it with a relaxing ointment.
